Heskins Redefining Custom DOT Reflective Tapes & Services

It is a competitive market but many years ago we made our entry by doing what no other manufacturer was willing to do, we not only provided a red carpet customer experience , we always said ‘yes’ and we wanted to take away the usual pain of dealing with a manufacturer, you know, that sucking-air-through-the-teeth, never ending lead times and high minimum order quantity. Even back then we knew that we needed even more than that so we ensure that we offer the below USPs;

Custom branding

We know that others do this, but, the handful of other manufacturers do not offer low MOQs, rapid proof turnaround (often same day), stock call off facility and a wide variety of materials offered including glass bead, air sealed and metalized. A few years ago we decided to push the boundaries a bit further, we now uniquely produce non-FMVSS approved colors, gray is not FMVSS approved, but, if you want gray as your equipment does not need to be FMVSS approved then you can have that! All other manufacturers will not allow you to have more than one color on the DOT reflective tape; we allow you to have all the colors you want on the DOT tape. Try getting a custom DOT tape width other than 2” anywhere else, it cannot happen, they will say it cannot be done. If you want a DOT tape roll that is 1”, 1.5”, 4” then not a problem for us at all, we can produce it plain or can even custom brand it for you. No other company in the world can do the above, only Heskins.

Reseller support

If you are a reseller, how many times do the other manufacturers want to know lots of information about your account, not provide you any help and typically they try to take the account from you as they think it should be theirs. We not only welcome resellers but we actively support you. We provide you samples, a download suite login and we happily stay in the background, we just want to produce as much material as we can. All DOT reflective tapes are supplied in an inner box, we can supply these either Heskins branded, plain white or even branded with your details (MOQs apply). All reseller rolls are supplied with either a Heskins branded or plain core as stipulated by you.

Curbside/roadside

As the world’s main manufacturer of anti slip tapes we wanted to bring our application efficiency expertise to the DOT conspicuity market. In trailer manufacturing environments when they are applying down the side it is faster and more efficient to have two teams on both sides of the trailer and rapidly run the tape down as an application, however, this cannot be done with any other custom branded DOT tape. One side would be inverted. Heskins uniquely produces curbside and roadside DOT tape. The orientations are opposed on the materials, this results in the customer being able to rapidly apply the product using two teams, both starting together, it results in an easier application and most importantly; large time savings on your production line.

Pre-perforated DOT tape rolls

We can kiss-cut our rolls and perforate them. This allows for rapid and neat application, no waste, no cutting, no tear marks, it saves so much application time. We can not only perforate them every 12” or 18” but at any point that the customer requires.

Different lengths

The most common length for DOT reflective tape is 150’, it is the vast majority of our production, but there is a requirement for different lengths. For retail packaging we often supply lengths such as 15’, 50’ etc. One area that is often forgotten about is the requirement for special DOT tape lengths for specific requirements, if a trailer or vehicle is 25’ long, then we can manufacture a DOT tape roll that is 25’ long.

Custom printed reflective decals

We uniquely produce reflective decals for use on your equipment, these are not rolls but signs, warning notices, logos etc. They are applied onto the equipment that we print using our reflective tapes, they look absolutely fantastic, imagine using a reflective tape and printing your normal decals on to this, it makes your equipment stand out at night that quite literally outshines your competition!
