Glow Line glow in the dark grip tape is a cost-effective method of getting an anti slip surface and visual glow in the dark tape for your business or premises. Some high-grade photoluminescent powders and pastes can cost more than gold. With this in mind, we decided to create a cost-effective alternative to the problem of achieving safety flooring that can also act as a visual aid in low light and lights out situations.

Glow striped anti slip tape solves this by only covering a small, yet effective centre line of the surface with photoluminescent egress tape, surrounding it with Heskins black standard Safety Grip coating. Using a thinner strip of photoluminescent tape reduces production costs, providing a more cost-effective solution for customers looking for an anti slip surface that has photoluminescent marking properties.

Sizes

The centre photoluminescent strip measures 0.40 inches, with the Safety Grip strips on either side measuring 0.80 inches, making a total width of 2 inches. The contrast between the photoluminescent and anti slip materials makes for a highly visible highlighting product. Other widths and line formats can be produced, but that would be dependent on order quantity. As always, we are happy to discuss this.

Tape Thickness

Glow Line features a total applied thickness of approximately 0.037 inches ± 0.002, offering a slightly more substantial profile than standard anti-slip options while still maintaining excellent flexibility. Its specialized construction allows the tape to sit firmly in place, providing a durable, highly visible surface layer without creating excessive height. This balanced thickness ensures reliable glow-in-the-dark performance and long-lasting edge definition, making Glow Line ideal for marking lanes, hazards, and walkways where both visibility and safety are critical.

Material

The Glow Line photoluminescent material is charged by either natural or artificial light, with photons in the material storing the light as energy. Once the lights go out, the photons emit this energy as a bright green afterglow, helping to guide staff and visitors around facilities. The standard Safety Grip anti slip material helps to provide exceptional slip protection that exceeds any present or forthcoming regulations.

As the photoluminescent material is recessed in the middle of the material, it does not come into direct traffic with feet, meaning it is less likely to get dirty, thus the performance lasts a lot longer.

Custom Printing

Glow Line tape offers a practical solution for low-level navigation and safety marking in environments where lighting may be inconsistent or limited. With custom printing options, it can display essential information such as arrows, warnings, or directional instructions directly on its glowing surface. This makes it especially useful in locations where clear, subtle guidance is crucial.
