With our recent innovation in our glow in the dark material, new technology has allowed us to prolong the photoluminescent ability. This means it will stay brighter in a lights out situation, for longer. This is a first in a line of new glow in the dark anti slip products from Heskins®.

Benefits

A clear coarse resilient anti slip surface is applied to our new high-quality glow in the dark material. The clear anti slip surface does not mask the photoluminescent properties whatsoever, creating a non-abrasive, glow in the dark anti slip surface that can be applied in areas exposed to bare feet or water. This helps to increase its application scope and choice for the user. Using a coarse resilient anti slip surface allows usage in areas which require strict hygiene standards to be upheld, due to its ease of cleaning, much like the rest of our Aqua Safe & non-abrasive range.

Sizes

Heskins®, at present, offer two variants of high-quality glow in the dark anti slip tape, super and premium. These offer two different levels of luminance. Heskins® offer these two variants to allow you to choose a cost-effective product for your solution. Both variants still offer high levels of luminance which exceed the regulatory requirements of photoluminescent materials at a commercial level. They are gauged from the OSH1910 regulation, which gets technical information from ASTM 2072, stipulating that levels of luminance for photoluminescent products, measured in mcd/m2 ( millicandela per square meter ), must perform within a 60-minute time frame, from 30mcd/m2 to 4.4mcd/m2.

As seen from these results, both products far exceed regulatory requirements and will continue to do that for some time. DIN 67510 standards are also met and exceedingly surpassed, with premium getting a class C certification, with an afterglow lasting up to 1800 minutes, and supers afterglow lasting for up to 450 minutes, giving it a class A.

High-Quality Glow in the Dark Application

With an exceptional performance in internal areas, high-quality glow in the dark anti slip tape can be applied on stairways and walkways to mark out specific exit routes, ensuring safe exit from buildings in a lights out situation. This allows an additional, cost-effective lighting solution, separate from emergency lighting, to increase safety for guests and employees to navigate a building. As previously mentioned, due to the non-abrasive surfaces inability to harbor dirt and bacteria, it can also be used as a non slip, glow in the dark solution in areas regulated by strict hygiene standards. Boats and larger, commercial vessels can also benefit from the application of high-quality glow in the dark anti slip tape.
