Before starting, make sure all your tools are ready to go, as any delay during installation can impact the final result.

Step 1: Clean the Application Surface

Begin by brushing away all debris from the surface. Any remaining debris can interfere with the adhesive, reducing the effectiveness and longevity of the anti-slip tape.

Step 2: Thoroughly Clean the Surface

With gloves on to protect from chemicals, use the IPA cleaner and a cloth to clean the surface. This will remove finer particles like dust and grease that could weaken the tape’s adhesive.

Step 3: Prepare the Anti-Slip Tape

Refer to the diagram to start peeling a small portion of the backing off the tape. Avoid removing the entire liner at once to prevent the tape from sticking to itself.

Step 4: Align and Apply the Tape

Align the tape as demonstrated in the images, using the edge of the previously applied tape as a guide. Slowly peel back the liner while applying the tape, ensuring it stays straight.

Step 5: Eliminate Air Bubbles

After applying the tape, use a seam roller to apply firm pressure along the tape, which helps secure it and extend its life by removing any trapped air bubbles.

Step 6: Seal the Edges

Once the tape is in place, apply Edge Fix along the edges, as shown in the images. This sealant prevents dirt and moisture from undermining the adhesive, thereby extending the tape’s durability.
