This addition allows us to significantly reduce turnaround times and enhance efficiency, making it even easier to print custom designs on various safety tapes and signs.
Introducing the Canon Colorado 1650
The Canon Colorado 1650 is a state-of-the-art commercial printer that’s well-suited for the task at hand. With the capacity to print on rolls with a maximum width of 64 inches, it offers us the flexibility to print on any of our wide-width markings or non-abrasive tapes.
One of the key features of the Canon Colorado is its use of next-generation UVgel technology for printing. The ink is heated, transforming it from a gel to a liquid, and then it’s set using a UV head. This innovative process results in a durable print finish with remarkable flexibility, which is particularly crucial for our range of products.
The printer boasts automated media feed and roll winding, capable of housing up to two rolls of material. Once set up, the printer can work autonomously, achieving a printing speed of up to 1711 square feet per hour on gloss settings. Additionally, it’s equipped with automated head malfunction detection, shutting off any nozzles that get blocked and allowing the rest to compensate. The system cleans and restarts the affected nozzle at the right time, ensuring a high-quality finish with minimal fuss.
Please note that the Canon Colorado is exclusively designed for printing on marking tapes or non-abrasive anti-slip tapes. For abrasive safety tape printing, we utilize our Mimaki printer. Rest assured, our fleet of printers is equipped to deliver excellent results, regardless of the type of tape you choose for your message or branding.

Our MOQ requirements are set as low as possible, offering you the flexibility of small runs of printed tape when needed. We can print on large sheets and full rolls, as well as provide die-cuts and rolls up to 98 feet in length.
If you have print-ready artwork in formats like PDF or .ai, please provide it. If you don’t have artwork, don’t worry! You can discuss your requirements with us, and our in-house design team will create print proofs for your approval before initiating the printing process.
