Flexi-Grip: Grip Tape for Firearms Available Now

We like to design anti slip tapes that solve problems, we love the challenges that a predicament creates, it forces us to be inventive.

A challenge we often get involved in is applying grip tape onto firearms. The customers require grip on surfaces such as the slider, magazine and pistol grip amongst other areas. Firearms are always angular, the areas I have mentioned are always small with no curve being shallow.

We wanted to develop the world’s first-ever anti-slip tape designed for application onto a firearm, which meant an entirely different construction. We determined that it needs to be non-abrasive (so as to be kind to skin when used), needs to have a high tack adhesive (when installed it needs to grab immediately onto a challenging surface) and, most importantly, it needs to be extremely flexible, far more flexible than anything ever produced previously.

Flexi-Grip is our unique solution. The grip level is excellent yet is still kind to skin. The application is not limited solely to gun grips, Flexi-Grip lends itself to any anti slip requirement where extreme flexibility is required combined with an aggressive water-resistant adhesive, which removes any negative impact that could arise from using Flexi-Grip with firearms or simply applying to angular surfaces.

At present we are producing Flexi-Grip in black and will soon be offering Coyote Brown. If these colors become successful, we are looking at adding additional options such as flat olive green and more.

Flexi-Grip is ready for immediate dispatch in pre-cut rolls measuring 1”, 2” and 4” in width at a length of 60 feet. Rolls up to 49.5” in width are possible, however as well as die-cuts in various shapes.

Our Flexi-Grip is also waterproof tape, so it can be used in many circumstances. Once this is being used in those harsher conditions, the waterproof material will not tarnish or ruin from being in contact with water. Water can affect the adhesive layer with other tape solutions and cause the tape to lose Grip on the application surface. Since our Flexi-Grip is waterproof, this will be more long-lasting.

Other Applications For Flexi Grip

Flexi-Grip is a very versatile product and can be used on other applications. A common one would be for mobile phones or tablets, which provide you with a non-slip surface to further protect your devices by preventing the risk of dropping them. Another application surface would be for tools or machinery that requires grip. This can vastly improve safety if working with sharp tools or objects as it reduces the likelihood of dropping them and potentially harming yourself.
