Cushion Grip Tape

Cushion grip tape is a completely non-abrasive anti slip solution, and thanks to the ‘foaming technique’, is very comfortable to walk on in bare feet, making it ideal for places where users will be on their feet for long periods of time. Unlike other plastic alternatives, PU contains no harmful chemicals; this makes the material very versatile and can be used in a number of applications.

Different embossing rollers are used to create cushioned anti slip tape. This allows us to create a unique upper pattern far different from our other non-abrasives, and what helps give cushion grip its features.

Due to the strong materials we use, cushion grip possesses high levels of grip, this can be seen by the number of tests we have performed on the material. When comparing our results to the National standards of CoF (Coefficient of Friction), you can see our material is far in excess of what is required. Cushion Grip Tape received an incredible test result of 108 dry and 62 wet. Size & Custom

We offer cushion grip tape in gray, in roll sizes up to 53″ in width and various die cuts. We can offer custom options dependent on order quantity, so please contact us to discuss this.

Material

Cushion grip tape is produced using PU (Polyurethane). Polyurethane is a strong polymer which is used in a number of applications due to its hardwearing and flexible nature. One of the many benefits of PU is that it provides high levels of cushioning, this is created during the manufacturing process and makes cushion grip the strong anti slip material it has come to be known as. When PU is produced it can be ‘foamed’, this then provides a deep cushioning effect that cannot be experienced with other plastics, making the construction of this material different from other plastics we utilise.

Application

Production lines

The unique properties of this product essentially make it a cushion grip tape that has a cushioning effect. This allows for use on production lines where people can be stood for longer than normal periods of time, while also preventing any potential slips. Applying cushion grip in long length sheets on a surface will ensure the maximum cushion effect.

Truck Beds

Applying cushion grip to truck beds gives you a cushioned non slip surface that will protect any machinery you may put in there, It’s non slip properties will also allow you to work safely, particularly when hauling objects in and out.
