From our industry-leading, non-abrasive anti slip material, coarse resilient, comes Lean Coarse Resilient anti slip tape. Developed as a thinner alternative to increase flexibility and conformability, it has become very popular amongst our customers, as a lot of them do not require the thickness of regular coarse resilient, but still want the same grip qualities it provides.

While still offering lower levels of CoF ( Coefficient of Friction ) than our abrasive range, the gap is closing, but still our non-abrasive range offer CoF levels in excess of OSHA and ADA requirements for grip in wet and dry conditions.

Benefits

Featuring a heavily textured, embossed surface, which consists of deep valleys and ‘sharp’ peaks unlike conventional non-abrasive surfaces such as our aqua safe, creates above the norm grip levels. This makes our coarse resilient range suitable for industrial use. The surface is achieved by embossing and micro blowing, a technique only achieved by the type of hybrid plastic we use during manufacturing, giving it a more rubber feel compared to conventional plastic film, allowing it to hold a more complex anti slip structure and compression under load to increase grip further.

Lean Coarse Resilient can be used in any environment, which is where it differs further from our abrasive alternative. Wet and dry areas, as well as environments subject to strict hygiene standards, are not off-limits, as the products lack of hidden areas, present in abrasive materials, prevents the build-up of dirt and bacteria. With the entire surface exposed, it allows for easy cleaning, without damaging cleaning equipment. This allows non-abrasive anti slip tapes use in kitchens, food prep areas and sterile facilities. The surface will also not damage skin or clothes, making it suitable slip prevention around the home and near sensitive equipment.

Its low-profile, skin-friendly texture makes it ideal for spaces that demand both safety and comfort underfoot. With custom printing, this tape can be adapted to carry directional arrows, pathway identifiers, or instructional labels suited to organized workspaces. In cleanroom corridors or pharmaceutical facilities, for instance, it could be printed with route guidance like “Sterile Zone Ahead” or “Footwear Change Required.” In back-of-house retail or logistics spaces, labels such as “Packing Area” or “Stock Only” help reinforce workflows without relying on wall-mounted signage.
