Gate Arm Reflective Tape

Gate arm reflective tape is a hi-viz, glass bead conspicuity tape constructed for use on traffic control devices for rail applications such as gate arms. It is a red/white reflective tape with the red/white color alternating in 16” sections.

This is exactly as described in the requirements of the US DOT FHWA Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Section 8C.04, paragraph 05 of the 2009 edition states that “Gate arms shall be fully retroreflectorized on both sizes”. Heskins rail gate arm reflective tape allows this to be made possible with ease, as the pressure-sensitive adhesive on the back makes quick, yet long-lasting application possible for a duration of up to 10 years dependent on weather conditions and overall maintenance.
